Dear St. Rose of Lima Parents,
Attached is a communication from our diocese regarding 529 Plans that can now apply to K-12 tuition expenses.
A 529 plan is a savings plan with tax advantages designed to encourage saving for future college expenses. The good news is that Iowa 529 Plans can now be used for your St. Rose of Lima tuition expenses!
Contact your financial advisor to explore this option and to use the 529 Plan to your full advantage, whether using it now for St. Rose of Lima, saving more for college later, or both.

FAST Testing
Formative Assessment System for Teachers (FAST) is a suite of highly efficient assessment tools designed for universal screening, progress monitoring, and program evaluation as part of a Response to Intervention (RtI) or Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) model of service delivery.
St. Rose students will take FASTreading and FASTmath 3 times a year (Fall, Winter, & Spring). These scores will be reported to parents during Fall & Spring conference dates and be sent home with report cards at the end of the school year.

Family Nights!
St. Rose is pleased to continue a tradition that started several years ago - Family Night!
We will be hosting nights for parents to bring their children to participate in activities at school. This is a great opportunity for parents and children to do something fun together, while still learning. It is also a wonderful chance for teachers, parents, and students to see each other outside of the classroom.
