Welcome to St Rose of Lima Catholic School!
We are a preschool through fifth grade school within the Diocese of Sioux City schools. We offer a Christ-centered environment with small class sizes.
We celebrate mass each Wednesday at 8:45 am, and pray together daily. Each class participates in Mass as greeters, gift bearers, vocations prayer leaders, lectors, and song leaders. Our pastors visit classrooms monthly.
Our teachers are certified with the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners and participate in numerous professional development opportunities. Over half our teachers have an ELL (English Language Learner) endorsement and more are currently working on their endorsement as well.
We offer a hot lunch program, busing, Title I, and many more services to help our students be successful. We are participating in Iowa's Early Literacy Initiative to help develop students' literacy skills and be proficient readers by the time they leave St. Rose.
